The new TVs feature Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 or 4K) and offer different picture modes for movies, games and sports that adjust color and brightness settings automatically for a better experience. In game mode, for example, the new TVs operate with an 8ms response time and use dynamic contrast and upscaling options for UHD. In the case of audio, the subwoofer should also offer improvements in the reproduction of more bass sounds. One detail is that although the TVs are promoted as QLED, they have LCD and non-LED panels. The QLED in the name refers to the Quantum Dot layer used by it to offer more brightness and more vivid colors.

The new TVs use an ARM Cortex-A55 processor, have 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and an integrated digital TV tuner compatible with DVB-T2, DVB-S2 and DVB-C standards. A CI+ slot for Pay TV cards is also available.

Connectivity options on Nokia’s new QLED Smart TVs include built-in support for Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth, LAN network port, three HDMI ports and two USB ports. With Android TV, users have access to apps from the Google Play Store, including apps from streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. The TVs also have Chromecast built in.
