A few months ago, there was a lot of talk about the shortage of components, which significantly worsened the stock of various products, including graphics cards. However, it seems that now the problem is the existence of too much equipment.

According to recent information, Nvidia may delay the arrival of its new GeForce RTX 40 graphics card lineup precisely due to the excess stock of the current generation models, the GeForce RTX 30.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 may arrive later...

We've been talking a lot here about Nvidia's new line of GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards, and, in light of what has been said, even though it's still a lot of rumors, users' expectations are already very high and the desire to put these equipments at proof is also high.

However, it seems that the wait will go on for some time yet because, according to the latest rumors from the technology industry, the next generation of GPUs from the North American manufacturer should be delayed again. And this delay could even make the launch happen only at the end of this year 2022 or, in the worst case scenario, at the beginning of the next year 2023.

But there is a reason behind this possible new delay, and it is related to the excessive stock of models from the current GeForce RTX 30 graphics line. And many of these models are not being released for various reasons, among them the extra cost, uncertainty at a time of inflation, the abrupt drop in cryptocurrency mining, where many are already selling their equipment. In addition, many users are also waiting for the arrival of the new generation and, as such, do not want to be investing in a previous line now.

This information was advanced by the channel Moore's Law Is Deadas you can see in the following video:

From what has already been advanced by several sources, the GeForce RTX 4090 will debut the new line and should arrive in mid-October, followed by the RTX 4080 in November and the RTX 4070 in December. The RTX 4060 should only appear in January.
