The startup Dronetag created a remote identification device for drones, which allows easy access to current regulations in each region, route tracing and obtaining a flight authorization. THE Dronetag Mini works like a Remote ID only 32g which can be positioned anywhere on the drone. The device is designed for users with old vehicles who may face problems obtaining flight permits, due to the new regulations in force that are being implemented in Europe.

The device shares information from the drone with civil and aviation authorities in the region where the vehicle is located. In addition, an application that can be accessed by smartphone, provides data on on-site pilots, tracks and routes, as well as enabling flight authorizations to be obtained. The Dronetag Mini is designed for old drones that do not have the identification technology that is required, or will be required, in several countries around the world, so that you can fly your drone.

The Mini has battery life up to 14 hours. The GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and EGNOS system send the vehicle’s position, along with its identification, to the authorities responsible for supervising drone air traffic at the site.

Ease of flight

According to Dronetag CEO Lukáš Brchl, the company’s device makes the user’s life easier by ensuring that the device complies with all necessary regulations. “The number of drones being used is increasing very fast across Europe, causing the European Union to create new regulations. They can be restrictive if the pilot does not have a suitable device. Our device and app together make it easy to adopt these regulations.” regulations”, commented the CEO.

The Dronetag Mini can be ordered directly from Dronetag website and is worth €249 (R$1,474 in direct conversion). The company claims that the product was designed for business drones, but can also be purchased by any pilot.
