Like promisedOnePlus announced today, February 17, the launch of its new OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphone. The device is highlighted by the presence of the Dimensity 900 chip, the d e90Hz screen, 64MP main camera and the 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging.
The new OnePlus smartphone features a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, a density of 409 pixels per inch and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Still on the screen, it supports HDR10+, covers the sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces and is protected with Gorilla Glass 5.
As mentioned at the beginning of the post, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphone comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip with eight cores and Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB of internal storage capacity based on the UFS standard ( Universal Flash Storage) 2.2, microSD card slot and 4,500mAh battery (two 2,250mAh cells) with support for 65W fast charging based on SuperVOOC technology. The camera set of this model consists of a 16MP front camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.4 aperture and EIS stabilization, and three rear cameras – the main 64MP with f/1.79 aperture and EIS stabilization, the 8MP ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture, 119-degree field of view and EIS stabilization, and the 2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture. It also brings LED flash, auto focus and zoom from 0.6x to 20x.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 camera suite supports features like HDR, night mode, portrait mode, time-lapse recording, slow motion recording and more. It can record videos in Ultra HD (4K) resolution at 30fps and Full HD (1080p) at 30fps/60fps. For slow motion recording, it supports Full HD resolutions at 120fps and HD (720p) resolutions at 240fps.

Connectivity options on the new OnePlus smartphone include support for 5G (SA/NSA) and 4G LTE networks, dual SIM chips, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB port. Type-C. Other features of the device include support for unlocking via facial recognition, fingerprint sensor, support for GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS location services, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and more. The operating system is OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11.

According to OnePlus, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 smartphone will be available in India from February 22nd in gray and blue colors for 23,999 rupees ($1,652) for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In the European market the device will be available from March 10 for €349 (R$2,048) and £299 (R$2,105) for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
