Oppo Find X5 Pro specs indicated by Geekbench listing, listed to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset

The Oppo Find X5 Pro is believed to have been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. An Oppo smartphone was listed on the website with the model number CPH2305 and the list also hints at some key specs of the device. Oppo Find X5 Pro can be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The listing on the Geekbench website suggests 12GB of RAM in the upcoming Oppo phone. The Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to launch alongside the Find X5 and Find X5 Lite models. It is expected to be the successor to the Oppo Find X3 Pro that was introduced in March last year.

The next Oppo smartphone appeared in several listings on Geekbench under the model name CPH2305, referring to the global version. According to the listing, initially identified by Nashville Chatter, the Oppo Find X5 Pro has a chipset codenamed ‘taro’, which is associated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The website also shows that the phone has 10.96GB of memory. That translates to 12GB of RAM on paper. It also hints at Android 12 on the Oppo Find X5 Pro. On the SoC, the listing suggests a high-performance core with a maximum clock speed of 3.00 GHz, three cores capped at 2.50 GHz, and four cores capped at 1 .79 GHz.

The device appeared on the Geekbench website with scores ranging between 966 and 1,256 points in single-core tests and between 3,357 and 3,420 points in multi-core tests. However, Oppo has yet to reveal details of the Find X5 Pro.

The Oppo Find X5 range is expected to include the regular Find X5, Find X5 Pro and Find X5 Lite models. The Find X5 Pro variant is expected to debut later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona. The company announced that it will showcase “innovative technologies and new products at the MWC”, including several “high-end flagship products”.

According to previous leaks, the handset may feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display (3,216 x 1,440 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Oppo Find X5 Pro is said to come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The device should carry a triple rear camera setup consisting of two 50-megapixel Sony IMX776 sensors and a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor. The Find X5 Pro comes with a dedicated MariSilicon X AI chip. It also has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie sensor.

Oppo is said to provide a 5,000mAh battery in the handset. It can support 80W wired fast charging alongside wireless charging stand.
