The Oppo Reno 7 series is scheduled to debut on February 4th, bringing the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G smartphones to Indian customers. The company shared details of the smartphone’s design days ahead of its launch in the country. The smartphones feature a gradient back finish and familiar flat-edge bezels, reminiscent of recent iPhone models. The Oppo Reno 7 series is said to include three smartphones. The Oppo Reno 7 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max and Dimensity 900 SoCs respectively.
Ahead of the launch of the Oppo Reno 7 series in the country, Oppo revealed details of the smartphone’s design. The company has revealed that the upcoming Reno 7 series will feature an aircraft-grade Shooting Star design that features 1.2 million microlines with an engraving depth of 8 micrometers. The smartphone will also feature the company’s Orbit breathing light around the rear camera module, which launched with the Reno 7 series in November 2021.
According to Oppo, the upcoming Reno 7 series will be the thinnest Reno range ever. The smartphones will have 1.5mm bezels, the thinnest of the company’s Reno smartphones. Scheduled for release on February 4, the upcoming Oppo Reno 7 series will likely include three smartphones – Oppo Reno 7 5G, Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G. Smartphone prices, along with RAM and storage variants, have yet to be revealed by the company.
The Oppo Reno 7 5G launched in China in November 2021, with an octa-core Snapdragon 778G SoC under the hood, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The smartphone has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (1,080×2,400 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that has a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The Oppo Reno 7 5G comes with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 60W Flash Charge.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC, along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (1080×2400 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Reno 7 is equipped with a triple 50-megapixel camera setup along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G comes with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with support for 65W Flash Charge, according to the company.
The Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display (1,080×2,400 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G has a triple camera setup, with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, as well as a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G comes with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W Flash Charge.
