THE Panasonic announced today, during CES 2022, one of its new flagship OLED TVs. THE LZ2000, according to the company, wants to bring more brightness, gaming features, a new set of speakers and an improved “Auto AI” mode.
The television can be purchased in sizes of 55 inches, 65 inches and, for the first time, 77 inches, officially called ‘Master OLED Pro – Size Cinema’. In addition, the LZ2000 uses advanced sensors not only to optimize your image based on the time of day, but also to detect the color temperature of room light, in order to adjust the image in a more “hued” way.
The new sensor works together with the LZ2000’s HCX Pro AI processor to adjust each hue depending on the ambient light in the room.
About supports, this TV has Dolby Vision IQ, Filmmaker Mode, HDR10+ Adaptive, and HLG Photo. for those looking play on this TV, here we have HDMI 2.1 features available like High frame rate and variable refresh rate at 120Hz at full 4K resolution, reduced input lag for gaming at 60Hz, NVIDIA GPU auto detection and a game control overlay. The latter exists so that players don’t need to exit the game to see relevant settings and information such as frame rate, input delay and VRR data and HDR metadata.
For audio, Panasonic has revamped its speakers, which run the entire length of the TV behind the front speaker grille. This speaker set, which is complemented by risers and sides, was chosen for its wider, more directional sound environment and sharper, more accurate reproduction. Of course, here we also have the Dolby Atmos for a premium experience.
In addition, the TV brings a trio of new audio modes for the user to use as they wish: ‘Pinpoint’, which allows the sound to be directed to a specific point, such as your sitting position; ‘Area’, which allows you to change the sound for a group of people in a specific area of the room; and ‘Spot’, which turns up the volume in a specific area while letting others in a room hear it.
The price and availability of this TV will be revealed closer to the date of arrival on the market, in the summer of the Northern Hemisphere – that is, our winter, in the middle of the year.
