THE paramount announced recently that the third Sonic movie and a new series of the character Knuckles are already in development. On the same day, the official Paramount+ account confirmed that a sequel to A Quiet Place will also be released. According to the studio, A Quiet Place: Part III will arrive in 2025.

The synopsis of the original sequel to the horror film has not yet been released and it may take a while to happen, as the feature film has not even started production. Despite that, with the end of the latest production starring Emily Blunt (Jungle Cruise) and Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders), fans can expect the same survivors still at war with the monsters.

It is worth remembering that A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place: Part II (2021) were directed by John Krasinski, who also starred in the first film and participated in the second as an actor. Thus, it is expected that Krasinski will continue on the project as director of the third film.

In theaters, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place: Part II both grossed US$ 340.9 million and $297 million, respectively. It is worth mentioning that in relation to the second film, production was scheduled to be released in 2020, but the studio delayed the release because of the pandemic, arriving in theaters only in June 2021.

Spin-off confirmed for 2023

Along with the news that A Quiet Place: Part III will hit theaters and streaming in 3 years, the Paramount+ page announced that a spin off from the story of the original production will also be released in 2023. The spin-off story will be directed by Michael Sarnoski, the same director of Pig (2021), a film starring Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff.
