Do you know when the changes will come to Netflix?



Good Morning,
I needed your help to know when Netflix will start tracking the use of accounts in various homes.
I have a shared account with 3 friends, to reduce costs and have access to everything Netflix offers.
What is worrying me is that these gentlemen will soon end this sharing scenario and force me to pay more to be able to use my account, since it is shared.
I ask for your help to know if there will be a way to circumvent these new rules and when they will come into operation.

This is an issue that has several interpretations and several opinions, and the one that will prevail is that of Netflix, since it sells the service.
From what we have been following, changes will emerge and the streaming company will try to end account sharing the way it currently happens.
There is still no model that is known to be the end and that will be adopted for all.  There are tests taking place in several countries and trying to find the right one.
Likewise, there are still no dates for the entry into production of these new models.  The only certainty is that these will even reach users.

How to stop updating apps on Android?



Pplware, how can I stop Android apps from auto-updating?  I want to be the one to control how and when this process takes place, not leaving the decision to the system.
I think this is possible and so I am asking for your help, as I have seen it happen many times before.

This is a simple situation to solve and it takes a few minutes to configure.  However, it will give you a lot more work later on.
We have already addressed this topic a few times, so the simplest way to respond is to refer to the article where this step is explained, both globally and in particular, app by app.

Can I switch Windows 10 S to another version?



Hello Pplware,
I need yours to make my new PC easier to use and with even more apps.  I'll explain this situation, which may even be simple to solve, but I can't get around it.
The version of Windows that comes with my new machine is Windows 10 S and that prevents me from installing the apps I want, especially the ones that aren't on the Microsoft store.
So my question is how do I get around this limitation and how can I get Windows to run without limitations.

Nelson,
Windows S is a version dedicated to users with less technical skills and who need the system to protect them more actively.
To achieve this, and among other measures, it prevents apps from being installed from outside the Microsoft store.
Of course it is not permanent and these blocks can be removed.  Note however that after leaving S mode you will not be able to return.
To do this, you just need to try to install any app directly from Windows, but outside the app store.
By doing this step, you will be forwarded to the store, for a notification that you are on an S version of Windows and that it has additional protections.
Still and in this same area, you can remove S mode from Windows.  Then it will restart the system and it will then be in a normal version.

How can I use Netflix and other services on my Samsung TV?



Good afternoon, I recently bought a samsung tv and it comes with an optical type audio input.
So, I bought an adapter to be able to connect the television to a stereo I already had, however when I'm watching the normal channels it works perfectly, but when I switch to netflix, hbo or disney+ it starts to make a very strange noise and it doesn't work. sound.
Do you know what it could be?

This seems to be a TV configuration issue and not the apps you are using to view streaming services.
This is a problem that is often repeated on the Internet and does not seem to have a direct solution.
You must validate in the Samsung TV settings if there is an option associated with the apps and their sound output. 
Confirm that in this case you have the SPDIF option active or, at the very least, that the Auto option is being used, so that the TV chooses the right audio output.
You can still consult this question  from the Samsung forum, where some more generic solutions are presented that can help solve this problem.

This is a system that is almost at the end of its life and therefore it should not be easy to find.  Even so, and in two of the partners that Pplware works with, this is still a viable purchase option.

See if one of these 2 proposals is what you are looking for and choose the one that best suits you or the one that is cheaper.
In any case, it is interesting and important to consider upgrading to Windows 10 or 11.
