How can I use Samsung Pay from my watch in Portugal?

Good afternoon pplware.

First of all, I want to thank you for the excellent work, I use pplware daily to keep up with the latest technological developments.

The question I would like to ask you is about the galaxy watch 4 classic, I would like to know if I will be able to make payments with it by contactless, I don't know if samsung pay will be available in portugal, or
if there's another way I can do it, like installing an app on the watch or something.

Samsung Pay is not yet available in Portugal, so it is not possible to use it directly or using a national bank.

However, there is a way to use it using a bank, which happens to belong to the Santander group. This is the Openbank bank, which is a member of Samsung Pay in Spain, a bank that is completely free to use.

In order to use payments on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, after opening an Openbank account, simply add their card to Samsung Pay (watch app installed outside the Play Store).

Is this a reliable site to buy a smartphone?

This is not a popular shopping site, but a quick analysis shows that it should be based in our country.

A quick internet search doesn't show user complaints, but on the other hand, it doesn't reveal positive comments either.

Another quick search on the Complaint Portal reveals only one issue with a user, who strangely repeats his complaint many times, probably to try to get more attention.

So, and if the value of the smartphone you want to buy is at an attractive price, consider your purchase, with all the pros and cons.

Can I already have Windows 11 on PC? If yes how do I install it?


I saw that they recently published a news story in which Windows 11 became accessible to everyone.

I've been waiting for this version for some time, but it takes a while to arrive and let it install on my computer.

So, and because I still don't see any updates, I ask what I have to do to have it available.

Effectively Microsoft announced this week the general availability of Windows 11 for all supported computers.

Even so, you must bear in mind some important considerations that may be conditioning the arrival of Windows 11.

First of all, this update will only be made available to those who have compatible hardware that meets the requirements.

Also, it is a gradual process and one that will accelerate now. If you haven't received this notification yet, you should periodically visit the Settings app's updates area and look for news.

This way, as soon as it is available, Windows 11 will be offered to your PC.

How to control notifications on my Android smartphone?

Good Morning,

Lately my Android smartphone has been showing too many notifications because I'm using some new apps to communicate.

Of course that makes me upset, because it's always beeping and vibrating. Furthermore, if I don't erase them, they accumulate in the midst of the ones I believe to be valid.

So, I ask, how can I change that and make these notifications disappear once and for all.

This is a normal situation on any operating system and should be handled to avoid confusion.

There are 2 ways to do this, depending on the operating system version. The simplest is to swipe the notification and then choose the cog, to indicate that it should not be shown.

Another alternative is to access Android settings and then choose app. When you find the app that is showing these notifications, you must open it and choose the notifications part. There, you have the settings you are looking for.

Should I use a Microsoft account on my Windows?


Microsoft has been trying to force the use of their accounts for Windows. I don't know if this is better or worse than having one on the PC and that's why I asked for your help.

Can you help me choose what type of account I should choose the next time I install Windows?

There are several reasons to adopt a Microsoft account on Windows and that you must have a Microsoft account set up on Windows.

First, you will be able to use the password for that account to log into Windows. If you forget, you can quickly change it on the Internet.

On the other hand, it will guarantee a synchronization of settings that can then be used on any other computer where that account is used.

Also backups will be simpler, having several areas sent to OneDrive. Accessible on the Internet or anywhere and trouble-free, this is one of the great advantages.

So, I think you have here the main reasons to choose to use your Microsoft account and thus already have these new features in Windows.
