Charly Hübner’s (49) farewell to “Police Call 110” did not want to miss many crime fans on Sunday evening (January 9th). This is also noticeable in the quota: The last case from Rostock with Alexander Bukow (Hübner) and his partner Katrin König (Anneke Kim Sarnau, 49) had more viewers than ever since the investigative duo started in 2010.
According to NDR, 9.237 million people followed the 24th mission of the two investigators in the first. The market share was accordingly 28.8 percent – that is also a new record. The “Police call 110: None of us”, at the end of which Bukow quits his duties, was also very well received by the younger audience. Of the 14 to 49 year olds, 1.528 million watched, corresponding to a market share of 19.2 percent. The thriller was also the winner of the day on Sunday.
New investigator to be seen this year
In May of last year, Hübner announced his voluntary departure from the crime series. Frank Beckmann, NDR program director, now commented on the actor’s successful departure: “Charly Hübner made it really difficult for us to say goodbye to ‘Polizeiruf 110’. The reach shows: The tension as to how it would end with Bukow was enormous, and the viewers were not disappointed. It was a conclusion that suited this character and the series. ”He added, among other things:“ Should Bukov ever want to return to Rostock from Siberia, we would receive him with open arms. ”
First of all, however, Lina Beckmann (40) determined as Melly Böwe at Sarnau’s side in Rostock. Since Beckmann has been married to Huebner since 2012, at least in this way the inspector’s position remains in the family. The first mission of the new team, the “Police Call 110: You can’t choose your family”, will be shown by the first later this year, announced the NDR.
