The launch of the Redmi 10A seems imminent as the smartphone has reportedly been spotted on China’s TENAA certification website. Redmi’s next budget smartphone will be offered in various RAM and storage configurations. The Redmi 10A will have a 6.53-inch IPS screen. The TENAA listing also mentions that the Redmi 10A will feature a 4,900mAh battery. The Xiaomi sub-brand budget smartphone was also spotted on the 3C certification website earlier this month. The Redmi 10A will reportedly support 10W charging.
AN TENAA Xiaomi 220233L2C smartphone listing was first seen by Gizmochina. The report speculates that the listing is for the upcoming Redmi 10A. The TENAA listing suggests some key specs for the smartphone.
Redmi 10A specs (expected)
The Redmi 10A will have a 6.53-inch (720×1,600 pixels) IPS HD+ display, as per the listing. It is said to run the Android OS – Android 11 as previously suggested by the Geekbench listing of the phone. TENAA’s listing shows an unnamed 2GHz octa-core processor – likely the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, as indicated by the Geekbench listing. Furthermore, the TENAA listing also mentions that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will have 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, as well as 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.
For optics, the Redmi 10A will have a single 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie sensor. TENAA’s listing suggests that the Redmi smartphone will be offered in black, blue, green, grey, indigo, orange, pink, red, silver, violet, yellow and white color options. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, infrared, Bluetooth and USB. Onboard sensors will include a gravity sensor, proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor.
Redmi 10A storage can also be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB) as per the listing. It is said to measure 164.9 x 77 x 9.0 mm and weigh 194 grams. The TENAA listing mentions a 4,900mAh battery. As mentioned, the Redmi 10A has also been spotted on the 3C certification site — identified by Gizmochina – which suggests 10W charging support.
