Redmi Watch 2 Lite: Xiaomi announces the launch of the smartwatch in Brazil for R$ 799.99

Yesterday (8), Xiaomi announced the arrival of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in Brazil. The smartwatch focused on users’ health and well-being has sleep monitoring features and has more than 100 exercise modes. The device launched in 2021 in Europe, arrives in the country this week with a 1.55-inch FT-LCD screen, with a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels and Bluetooth 5.0.

On top of its more than 100 training modes, the accessory has 17 professional modes, including activities such as running, treadmill, walking, cycling, trail and swimming, monitoring steps, distance traveled and calories burned during an exercise.

Although it does not include Wi-Fi or the NFC system, the wearable comes with the new GNSS chipset, which allows for greater performance to track the user’s position, supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BDS systems. In addition, it provides accelerometer, optical gyroscope and electronic compass sensors.

A highlight of the Watch 2 Lite is its water resistance of up to 50 meters deep (5 ATM), which allows the user to use it in swimming pools or in showers.

Battery lasting up to 10 days

The watch also has a 262 mAh battery, which is capable of duration of up to 10 days. The charging time for this battery is approximately 2 hours, being charged magnetically through a cable.

Working together with the Xiaomi Wear app (for Android and iOS), the device is compatible with Android 6.0 or higher and iOS 10.0 or higher and allows the user to change songs directly from the device, without the need to touch the phone.

Sleep Monitoring

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite promises to monitor the user’s health even when he is sleeping, providing information such as monitoring the blood oxygenation level (SpO2), full sleep monitoring (deep, light and time awake) and menstrual cycle monitoring. The watch even tracks your stress level and alerts you to your heart rate.
