Samsung Display to provide Apple with 80 million OLED screens for iPhone 14

The news for the iPhone 14 and other models of the Apple smartphone line that will be launched in September, have long started to appear on the internet and the event for programmers WWDC 22, has already confirmed some of them.

Now, there is a source that guarantees that Samsung Display will provide Apple with 80 million OLED screens for the four expected iPhone 14 models.

The website Korea IT News recently revealed some of Apple's plans for its future smartphones. "Industry experts familiar with Apple and Samsung Display's plans" are quoted as saying that Samsung Display will provide 80 million screens for all iPhone 14 series models.

It is also reinforced that the mass production and delivery of the panels should start sometime in the third quarter of the year, which makes sense, considering the normal timetable for the launch of Apple smartphones.

Four iPhone 14 models are expected. In addition to the base version, there will be a 14 Pro, a 14 Pro Max and a 14 Max. In addition, according to older rumors, there will be two 6.1-inch and two 6.7-inch versions, and it is now stated that Samsung Display will provide OLED screens for all these models.

It is also indicated that 38.17 million of these screens will be to equip the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max models
