Samsung is slated to launch the Galaxy S22 in the spring of this year. For several months now, rumors have been circulating in fan circles that deal with the specific design and technical details of the new smartphone. The closer we get to the release of the Samsung Galaxy S22, the more alleged leaks seem to be reaching the public.

Samsung Galaxy S22 specs leaked?

It is not always possible to say with certainty which supposed facts about the new Samsung mobile phone actually correspond to reality. Quite a few arise only from the keen imagination of some fans. So now is a data sheet, for example on Twitter landed, which should reveal the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and its Ultra version. At first glance it makes an official impression, but this can only be due to the thoroughness of a forger.

The data of the Ultra model are particularly highlighted in the picture. Accordingly, the smartphone should appear with a 6.8 inch (3,080 x 1,440 px) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display of the base model should again come to 6.1 inches (2,340 x 1,080 px).

The cameras of the Ultra model

It is also shown that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery and an Exynos 2200 SoC (System-on-a-Chip). In addition, there are memory options from 128 to 256 up to 512 gigabytes and the RAM options eight and twelve gigabytes. The cameras of the more expensive variants should be set up as follows:

  • Ultra Wide 12 MP F2.2 (Dual Pixel AD)
  • Wide 108 MP F1.8 (PD), OIS, Super Clear Lense
  • Tele1 10 MP F2.4 (3x, Dual Pixel AF), OIS
  • Tele2 10 MP F4.9 (10x, Dual Pixel AF), OIS
  • Front 40 MP F2.2 (PD)

The information largely coincides with previous leaks and rumors. The design of the data sheet and a typo (a comma is missing) suggest that this is more of a fake than an official list of specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S22 (Ultra).
