Last year Samsung released the Galaxy S21. The current flagship of the South Korean developer quickly enjoyed great popularity. As usual, this will be used again in a few months by a new model. The specific release date of the Samsung Galaxy S22 (Ultra) is not yet known, but we have already been able to find out a lot about its technical details.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the video
Just last week, YouTuber Xeetechcare presented a surprisingly detailed video about the Galaxy S22 and its Ultra model. In it he summarized already known information, but also provided some not insignificant news. With its latest video, the channel takes a closer look at the super clear lens feature of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Last Wednesday, the leaker published an allegedly official data sheet for the S22 (Ultra) via Twitter. Information from the Specs list can also be found in the first extensive and the new video. The Super Clear Lens is only found on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to various reports, it is said to be a kind of gorilla glass protection from Corning.
With the 108-megapixel camera of the S22 Ultra, it should be possible for the first time to make 12-bit HDR recordings. That would mean that photos and videos would not only be sharper, but also be far more colorful. Compared to the 10-bit ProRes in the iPhone 13 Pro, that would mean a good 64-fold increase. However, this is only possible with 4K videos at 30 frames per second (fps).
Further leaks support claims
In addition to Xeetechcare, the well-known Leaker @UniverseIce also assumes that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer a wider field of vision.
“The main camera of the S22 Ultra has a larger wide-angle range. We know the S21 Ultra is bigger than the S20 Ultra, but the S22 Ultra is bigger than the S21 Ultra and I’m talking about the main camera. “
