The launch of the series models Galaxy S22 is getting closer and closer and the Samsung is making preparations to finally make its high-end smartphones available to consumers. However, recent rumors point to the manufacturer’s problems with its new chipset. Exynos 2200, something that, according to the registration of the devices made by European retailers, should not interfere with the company’s plans.
Information released by the leaker Ice Universe last week indicated performance problems in the South Korean giant’s new chipset, which had overheating and lagged behind Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This problem ended up generating a rumor about the company is considering releasing the S22 series without its new SoC.
But Samsung may have finally overcome these problems, this is because several European retailers are registering the new Galaxy S22 in the version equipped with the Exynos 2200. On the sellers’ websites, the devices have the serial numbers ‘SM-S901B‘, ‘SM-S906B‘ and ‘SM-908B‘ which is a start of being the variant with its own SoC, that’s because the models marketed in the United States, South Korea and China, which will come with Snapdragon chipset, have a different letter at the end and are called ‘SM-S901E‘, ‘SM-S906E‘ and ‘SM-S908E‘.

This is great news for the manufacturer and consumers interested in buying the company’s device, because the new Exynos, along with the GPU made in conjunction with OMG, is one of the main products developed by the company at that time. Since the partnership between the companies was announced, they are sharing the enthusiasm of bringing the RDNA2 microarchitecture (same as desktop video cards) for smartphones.
It is worth noting that this information and data on the performance of the new Exynos 2200 has not been confirmed or denied by the Samsung, but we will only know for sure if it will come on new smartphones Galaxy S22 next day february 8, which will be when the manufacturer will unveil its new series of high-end smartphones.
