THE Samsung released today, January 4, its new MICRO LED TVs, Neo QLED and lifestyle before CES 2022. With advances in picture and sound quality, more screen size options, customizable accessories and an updated interface, the 2022 screens bring the vision of ‘Screens Everywhere, Screens for All’ closer to reality with realistic images, immersive sound and hyper-personalized experiences.
MICRO LED: the height of screen technology
Like Samsung’s next-generation screen, the MICRO LED offers best-in-class image quality thanks to the 25 million micrometer LEDs that produce light and color individually, creating an immersive experience through stunning depth, vibrant colors and a high level of clarity and contrast. At CES 2022, Samsung will introduce the MICRO LED in three different sizes – 110”, 101” and 89”.
In addition to hardware innovations, the MICRO LED 2022 Enables 20-bit grayscale depth. This means that MICRO LED models can express every detail in a scene, offering the best control with over 1 million steps of brightness and color levels, delivering a better HDR experience. She also expresses 100% DCI and Adobe RGB color gamut, resulting in stunning, lifelike colors.

- Art Mode allows consumers to turn any room into an art gallery as they can select and display their favorite artwork or digital photography (can use NFT). THE MICRO LED 2022 also comes with two exclusive media pieces from famous artist and designer Refik Anadol.
- Multi View allows users to view content from four different sources simultaneously – from any or all four HDMI ports – in crystal clear 4K resolution at up to 120fps.

Evolution of Neo QLED with Neo Quantum processor
THE Neo QLED 2022 will provide, in accordance with the Samsung, some of the purest images and immersive sounds possible. the new processor Neo Quantum features advanced contrast mapping with BLU (Backlight Unit) increasing the brightness level from 12 to 14 bits for greater control of the light source – the Quantum Mini LEDs. This allows the TV to control its lighting in 16,384 steps, quadrupled from the previous 4,096 steps.
the new technology Shape Adaptive Light enjoy the processor Neo Quantum to analyze lines, shapes and surfaces to control the shape of light from Quantum Mini LEDs, increasing the brightness and accuracy of all shapes on the screen. This technological advancement creates a greater sense of realism by determining and processing an object on the screen in relation to its background to create a sense of depth.
In addition, Samsung’s Neo QLED 2022 features mode eyecomfort, which automatically adjusts screen brightness and hue based on a built-in light sensor and sunrise/sunset information. As ambient light changes, the screen will gradually reduce the amount of light and provide warmer tones, adjusting blue light levels accordingly. This allows for a more comfortable viewing experience at night by reducing blue light that can affect sleep quality.
The Neo QLED’s sound features are also undergoing a major update. Based on OTS (Object Tracking Sound), which directs the sound to move around the room along with the object on the screen, the 2022 products will have OTS Pro that incorporates powerful speakers to create superior surround sound. The Neo QLED 2022 also offers an experience Dolby Atmos truly remarkable, thanks to the addition of Samsung’s new top-channel speakers.
