Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S22 lineup

Samsung has announcement the new range Galaxy S22and with this lineup, the South Korean giant is trying to correct some errors in the Galaxy S21 lineup and restore it as reliable flagship smartphones.

The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus come with 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch flat screens, both with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

Samsung is the first phone maker to use Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on the front and back of phones. Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus.

Both phones are available in black, white, green, and what Samsung calls rose gold. Both phones are available for pre-order now and will be available on February 25. Prices start at $800 for the Galaxy S22 and $1,000 for the Galaxy S22 Plus.

Both come with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. A model with a higher capacity of 256 GB is also offered. But it’s still the same amount of RAM.

Of all the usual spec upgrades, the company highlights camera performance the most. The 50-megapixel main camera has a sensor that’s 23% larger than what was inside the Galaxy S21.

Both smartphones additionally feature a 10MP telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom) and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

The company claims to have made great strides in night photography. She says these photos are now more detailed. This is also partly due to pixel binning and Samsung’s adaptive pixel technology.

The company is also touting major improvements in portraits. She says she can now make out individual strands of hair to keep a subject sharp and blur the background more accurately.

The screens of Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus have a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. But the refresh rate can reach 10 Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen to save battery power.

Samsung is working on improving cameras and performance

The company says it uses a new Vision Enhancer algorithm to maintain clarity and color saturation even in intense lighting conditions.

the Galaxy S22 Plus has a maximum brightness of up to 1750 nits. But you can only get there in direct sunlight. the Galaxy S22 has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

And both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor in the US. But, as usual, they contain Exynos chips in some international markets. Both phones are powered by Android 12 with Samsung’s OneUI 4.1 interface.

Galaxy S22 Ultra is Galaxy Note with another name

The company also has announcement the Galaxy S22 Ultra, whose information shown is a Galaxy Note family phone, but with a different name. The Smartphone offers a 6.8-inch screen, an integrated S Pen and a set of cameras, has a price of $1,200.

The phone is available for initial order from now and comes in black, white, green or burgundy. The device will go on sale on February 25 in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions. The 128GB model has 8GB of RAM. While other versions include 12 GB.
