The South Korean giant has revealed that its upcoming high-end smartphones will be made with more recycled materials, also stating the company’s plan to use these raw materials in more products.
Through an official publication, the company claims to have developed a new material made with fishing nets that are discarded in the ocean. This novelty is part of Galaxy for the Planetwhich is the company’s incentive to reduce the environmental damage of the company’s devices, in addition to encouraging a more sustainable style for its consumers.
The company’s first devices to be made with this new material from the company will be the devices Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, but all, or nearly all, of the company’s upcoming devices will be manufactured using recycled PCM (Post-Consumer Material). But in addition to devices Galaxythe company also will use more recycled paper in its packaging.
