The release of Galaxy Buds 2 the past year has showcased Samsung’s prowess when it comes to making solid wireless headphones. The $150 buttons pack a lot of premium features at a relatively affordable price, making them a good choice for those on tight budgets. The Buds 2 are an even better buy when you can buy them for $100, which is what Woot has them now. That’s $50 off the regular rate and a return to a record low – but before you dive in, remember to check it out. Woot return policy as it differs significantly from the parent company, Amazon.

Samsung has made its headphones smaller and more comfortable so far with the Galaxy Buds 2. They are 15% smaller and 20% lighter than the Galaxy Buds+, which were already quite comfortable to begin with. You’ll get approximately five hours of use from the buttons before they need more juice, which isn’t battery life for writing, but is on par with many competitors. The earphones case holds three additional full charges and also supports wireless charging.

The ANC and adjustable ambient sound mode are two of the buttons’ biggest selling points. Samsung has brought these features over from its high-end headphones, and while the ANC isn’t as strong as what you’ll find on something like the Galaxy Buds Pro, it still does a good job of blocking out ambient noise. The aforementioned five-hour battery life is also ANC enabled, so you don’t have to sacrifice yourself in that regard when you want a solid few hours with fewer distractions.

All these features form a pair of wireless headphones that offer a lot of value to Android users at a decent price. Make no mistake, the Galaxy Buds 2 are best when paired with an Android device – while it’s possible to use them with an iPhone, you’ll be stuck with the default settings.
