See which Xiaomi smartphones will receive MIUI 13 update in Q1

This Wednesday (26), the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi began the international launch of its new generation of operating system for smartphones, MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

In addition to detailing some of the improvements users will see, the The company also released the list of devices that will receive the update in the first quarter of 2022.

The list contains some of the most popular models today, including the Mi 11 family (in Ultra, 11i and 11 Lite versions), Xiaomi 11T, 11T Pro and 11 Lite smartphones, as well as several Redmi Note, Redmi 10 and Xiaomi Pad 5 devices.

In the publication made on its official blog, the Xiaomi also celebrated the milestone of more than 500 million active devices with MIUI installed, surpassed at the end of 2021. The manufacturer also highlighted that MIUI 13 will bring important advances in user experience, covering factors such as faster storage, greater efficiency of background processes and longer battery life.

A very important detail is that Xiaomi, despite citing the evolution of MIUI 13, omitted the Android version of its publication, which made some international vehicles raise the possibility of not all smartphones on the list are actually getting Android 12 under the new interface.

According to Xiaomi, the schedule may vary by region and country, but new devices will be listed for the update in the future.

What changes with MIUI 13?

Other resources such as Focused algorithms dynamically allocate device resources between tasksmaking the interface as a whole more responsive to users, even with multiple apps open simultaneously.

already the new Smart Balance function proposes a more refined control between energy consumption and processing speed of Xiaomi devices, promising up to a 10% increase in battery life under certain conditions.

Finally, Xiaomi smartphone owners can look forward to new widgets, sidebars and other news with the update to MIUI 13. It is worth noting that the Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro and Mi 11 Lite have already received the MIUI 13 update with Android 12. The system is also available in Beta stage for those who want to test the news.
