“Leon – Don’t believe everything you see”, the third spin-off of the cult series “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten” (RTL), provides a special surprise: singer Karsten Walter (28) celebrates his acting debut in it. The 28-year-old demonstrated his singing talent for the first time ten years ago on the talent show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. He finally started his music career with the band Feuerherz and is now also enjoying solo success.
In “Leon – don’t believe everything you see” Walter embodies the kitesurfer Linus, “who, with his talent, can also convince one or the other woman,” explains the singer in an interview with RTL and also outed himself as a big ” GZSZ” fan. He used to watch “GZSZ” with his two sisters and can still remember the love story between Leon and Verena well. “I found Leon’s new story super exciting right away, so I said yes right away.”
New career as an actor?
Acting is very appealing to him. “I am very keen to continue trying my hand at acting and would love to slip into many more roles. But my first great love was and definitely will be music,” the 28-year-old clarifies.
“Leon – Don’t believe everything you see” will be broadcast as a feature film on RTL on February 15 at 8:15 p.m. The focus is on the former “GZSZ” stars Susan Sideropoulos (41) and Daniel Fehlow (46), who are celebrating their long-awaited comeback on TV by many fans.
