After the Corona break last year, the jungle camp is back. On January 21, RTL showed the start of the 15th season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”. For the first time, the celebrity candidates in South Africa are fighting for the jungle crown. As the broadcaster reports, 4.58 million viewers aged three and over tuned in at the start of the anniversary season, which corresponds to a market share of 21.7 percent.

The pilot episode even achieved an excellent share of 35 percent among audiences between 14 and 49 years of age. The station will also be showing two of the upcoming shows in prime time for the first time. On January 27th and February 3rd, the jungle camp will be shown live on RTL and RTL+ from 8:15 p.m. Meanwhile, this Saturday evening, from 10:30 p.m., we’ll be back in the jungle. Before that, “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” starts at 8:15 p.m. in the 19th season.

Last year, due to the corona pandemic, RTL showed “I’m a Star – The Big Jungle Show” as a replacement for the usual camp. In it, reality actor Filip Pavlovic (27) secured a ticket for this year’s camp. In addition to him, eleven other celebrities can currently be seen – including model Janina Youssefian (39), “GZSZ” star Eric Stehfest (32), designer Harald Glööckler (56) and Jasmin Herren (43), Willi Herren’s widow (1975- 2021). Twelve stars were supposed to move in, but the singer Lucas Cordalis (54) was not there at the start due to a positive corona test. Daniel Hartwich (43) and Sonja Zietlow (53) moderate again.
