Social Internet Tariff: Which districts have the most orders placed?

Social Internet fare is not a new program and the “offers” are very interesting. It is true that, in general, there have not been many candidates, apparently because people have not yet fully understood whether they can benefit from this social Internet tariff.

The number of requests for social Internet tariff (TSI) made to date totals 781. Find out which districts have received the most requests. Did you know that TSI has a monthly fee of 5 euros + VAT?

Social Internet Fee: Only 470 eligible
Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal and Braga are the districts with the most requests, according to information requested by Lusa from Anacom.
As of Tuesday, "the number of IST requests is 781", and the number of requests that were considered eligible "is 470", an official source from the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) told Lusa.
Among the various requests made for the social Internet tariff, there is one for satellite Internet access.  However, on July 27, Anacom approved the draft regulation on the methodology for calculating the net costs of providing the social tariff for the provision of broadband Internet access services, published in the Diário da República on August 5, which will be under public consultation until 19 September.
This tariff has around 780 thousand potential beneficiariesthe universe of the population that benefits from the social tariff for electricity and water.

The tariff came into force this year and on February 21, regulator Anacom had announced that it could now be subscribed.
The social Internet tariff has a monthly fee of 5 euros + VAT, includes a minimum of 15GB of data per month, and operators must ensure a minimum download speed of 12 Mbps and 2 Mbps upload, in order to allow:

use e-mail;
search and consult all types of information on search engines;
use educational and training tools;
access newspapers or news;
buy or order goods or services;
look for a job;
networking, at a professional level;
use online banking services and Public Administration services;
use social networks and instant messaging;  and
make quality calls and video calls.
