A drone shop in England started the new year with a big loss. In one theft, several DJI products were taken.

Among the stolen goods were DJI’s new $5,000 Mavic 3 Cine Premium Combo, DJI Mavic 3 Fly More kits, Mavic 3 individual drones and some DJI Mini 2. Also taken were DJI Googles, two cameras and other accessories. . The total value is estimated at over US$190,000 USD (about R$1.07 million in direct conversion).

According to Mark Boyt, who owns the stolen Drone Safe Store, many Boxing Day orders were stolen in the raid.

The store’s alarm went off shortly after midnight on December 28th. CCTV surveillance footage shows two masked robbers entering the building. The entire robbery process lasted just three minutes and the police arrived in six minutes.

The police even sent a drone into the air to possibly locate the thieves, but people had already fled the scene. The investigation team is also trying to identify and locate those responsible with the help of images from security cameras. At the same time, store owners are working in partnership with the manufacturer to publish all the product’s serial numbers and asking the public to keep an eye out for any very cheap DJI drone being offered over the internet, for example.

Despite so many stolen goods, the UK’s Drone Safe Store remains open to help customers in the best possible way. In addition, the store’s owners would be offering a substantial reward for any information that leads to the identification and arrest of the two thieves seen in the CCTV footage.
