Syone: Open Source solutions company earned 11.8M euros in 2021

After two years of moderate growth, Syone earned 11.8M Euros in 2021, and grew over 10% compared to 2020.

In line with the positive trend of the previous year, 1Q 2022 ended with an 18% growth compared to the same period last year, as a consequence of the deep transformation process in the commercial area and the Go-to-Market strategy.

To consolidate support for current customers in Central Europe and Nordic countries, which represent more than 50% of turnover, Syone reinforced its operation in Belgium, which already has a dedicated team for the international market.

The pressure felt in the IT sector, arising from the digital transformation processes initiated by all sectors of the market and catalyzed by the pandemic, made it imperative to change the company's go-to-market model, which we started in 2019 anticipating market trends.

The change process was based on the premise of consolidating our offer in solutions that support our customers in the business areas, optimizing their resources, processes and offer, through innovative solutions and products.

This change in the go-to-market model has already resulted in a 300% growth in requests for services in Turn-key Projects and Managed Services, with the majority of Marketing Leads originating outside Portugal and for projects in Nearshore, in companies that seek competitive advantages and the improvement of their businesses.

Syone was founded in 1999, is Portugal's Leader in Open Source Solutions and has more than 200 employees and representation in Lisbon, Porto and Brussels. It is a Microsoft Gold Partner, and the largest partner in Portugal for Red Hat and Elastic, providing a wide range of technology and support services for its customers' business and Digital Transformation.
