TCL presents entry-level smartphone TCL 305 with Android 11 Go and Helio A22 chip

TCL announced the launch of its new TCL 305 smartphone in Europe. Considered an entry-level model, the device is an affordable option for those who don’t want to spend too much on a smartphone and features the MediaTek Helio A22 chip and the large battery of 5,000mAh.

According to the official specifications released by TCL, the new smartphone has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720), a density of 269 pixels per inch and a brightness of 450 nits. As mentioned at the beginning of the post, the TCL 305 smartphone comes equipped with the MediaTek Helio A22 chip with eight cores, 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot with up to 512GB of capacity and a 5,000mAh battery. with 10W charging.

The modest set of cameras of the new smartphone from TCL consists of a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and three rear cameras – the main 13MP with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro with f/2.4 aperture and one more. 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture for depth detection. The camera suite supports features such as HDR, panoramic mode, recording videos in Full HD (1080p) resolution at 30fps and more.

The TCL 305 smartphone’s connectivity options include support for 4G LTE networks, dual SIM chips, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. Other features of the device include support for unlocking via facial recognition, fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, support for location services like GPS, BeiDou, Glonass and Galileo, and more. The operating system is Android 11 Go.

TCL 305 smartphone price and availability

The TCL 305 smartphone is available in Europe in black and blue with a suggested price of 205 euros, which would be equivalent to US$ 228 or R$ 1,227 in direct conversion based on the current quotation. Information about a possible launch in Brazil was not disclosed.
