In this new edition, by abandoning the Bat Man presented with the actor Ben Affleckwhich featured a controversial interpretation of the joker (in Jared Leto), The Warner Bros. intends to restart the narratives in a new cinematic universe – which will start its own shared universe, with sequels in series, and other projects that will be confirmed soon.

The director this time will be Matt Reevesknown for Planet of the Apes: War. In addition to the already mentioned Robert Pattinsonknown for playing Edward Cullen, in the Twilight series, we will have other heavy names: Zoe Kravitzwho will play Selina Kyle (better known as “Catwoman”), and Paul Danowhich will give life to the villain “The Riddler”.

The recordings ended in March 2021; however, some scenes needed to be re-recorded in June of the same year. Despite the issues caused by COVID-19, the responsible team was given the necessary time (after some understandable delays) to restructure the pieces that were missing up to that stage of development.
