The company plans to create a movie studio in space in 2024

The space is becoming more and more accessible to the private sector, mainly thanks to tests and launches carried out by companies such as blue origin and SpaceX, now more and more companies are starting to take an interest in the universe. One of these is a film production studio, which has announced the plan to release the first space entertainment studio and multipurpose arena in two years, when it will be used to record a movie with Tom Cruise.

Whoever is behind the plans to launch a studio into Earth orbit is a new studio known as Space Entertainment Enterprise (SEE), which was created by film producers Elena and Dmitry Lesnevsky. The producers’ objective is to launch the module SEE-1 in orbit for it to dock with the first commercial space station axiom, Axiom Station, which will be linked to International Space Station (ISS).

The studio’s plans are to move its studio into a low-orbit microgravity environment, which will supposedly open in 2024, separating from the ISS in 2028. SEE, it will be possible for artists and producers to record, produce and even broadcast live content.

This new “space station” and the studio were rrevealed as the team behind the production of Tom Cruise’s space movie, which Deadline found to be in production in 2020. The project will also feature some participation from SpaceX in Elon Musk, however, little is known about this, only that the plot will be separated from the universe of Mission Impossible.

In addition to movie recording, the SEE will also serve as an environment for third-party content production and events., with the site providing all the necessary infrastructure. Elena and Dmitry Lesnevsky stated, in an interview with Deadline, that “SEE-1 is an incredible opportunity for humanity to move into a different realm and start an exciting new chapter in space.”
