11 expansion packs, 10 gameplay packs, 18 accessory packs, 9 kits – hardly any other PC game has as many expansions as the bestselling game “The Sims 4” (2014). Almost 50 add-ons have been released since the game was released in 2014. The so-called kits are brand new on board. The small extensions contain new objects or clothing for your Sims. The good thing is that they only cost five euros. We got the last ones The Sims 4 Kits take a closer look.

These are The Sims 4 kits

In short: Kits are small sets that serve a specific theme and provide new content for the Sims world. This includes furnishings, outfits, but also small gameplay additions that are intended to enhance the way the simulation game is played. The sets are available for EUR 4.99. In the offer, the price can drop by one to two euros.

When the first kits were released by EA in the spring, they included, for example, the house cleaning set, which the Sims could use to vacuum up sweet little dust particles. We present the latest sets here.

The Sims 4: Blooming Rooms

Plants make rooms look cozier and livelier – also in “The Sims 4”. In the kit you will find numerous new hanging plants and pot elements to decorate the interior of your avatars. Also included: ivy curtains and shelves, tables and lamps with subtle floral notes. The kit is a must-have, especially for Sims players who are in construction mode.

The Sims 4 Modern Mens Fashion

Attention CAS fans – with this kit, men in the game can be transformed into true fashionistas. Long-established Sims players know that while the women in “The Sims 4” are given lots of hairstyles and clothes, the men lack diversity. That’s over now: the kit comes with trendy cut-out styles, pleated looks and provocative details. Yes, The Sims 4 is all about inclusivity. Even shirt dresses and sweaters in a grid design adorn the bodies of the male candidates here.

“The Sims 4: Industrial Loft”

Everyone is currently loving the Industrial furnishing style. So it’s no wonder that EA had to come up with a small kit to accommodate interior artists with something trendy. The set contains objects reminiscent of warehouses in New York. Monstrous windows, modern elements made of wood and steel and stylish lights pimp the houses in “The Sims 4”. The set has been really well received at Amazon: Customers are happy about the new possibilities to design the home of their favorite characters.

Are The Sims 4 Kits Even Worth It?

Initially, there was disagreement among the fan community as to whether the kits made sense. The reason: With the packs, a fourth type of expansion comes into play for the Sims. In general, fans criticize that EA tries to keep “The Sims 4” alive with small add-ons. It is noticeable that for 4.99 euros there are only a few new objects that briefly increase the fun of the game. But only briefly. Large expansion packs provide significantly more.

However, Electronic Arts was able to shine in the implementation: For Create-A-Sim players or construction mode fans, the small packs are a nice change and enrich the game. However, anyone who notices in advance that the content does not quite meet their own wishes should keep their hands off it. Otherwise the five euros are simply thrown in the sand. By the way, these are the system requirements for “The Sims 4”.
