Users of Windows 10 and 11 complained in the past about problems with the Bluetooth and WLAN connection. Some devices were particularly affected by poor sound quality. The new Update from Intel is now eliminating the errors that have occurred and is also changing something in terms of security.

Update fixes errors in Windows 10 and 11

The update for Windows 10 and 11 from the chip manufacturer involves updated Bluetooth and WLAN drivers, which are now called “Intel Wireless Bluetooth 22.100.1” and “Intel PROSet / Wireless Software 22.100.1”. They should fix WiFi timeouts and optimize the connection to AAC headsets, as well as headsets and soundbars in general.

Regardless of whether problems and malfunctions have occurred so far, the update should be installed according to Intel. These are available for download free of charge for users of Windows 10 and 11. However, the paper does not reveal which security issues have been resolved.

If you have other problems with your operating system, you can also repair Windows 10 yourself. If you find Windows 10 slow, you can use a few tricks to help.
