Vivo T1 5G live footage, camera samples leak ahead of India launch; price provoked

Alleged live footage of the Vivo T1 5G has been leaked showing the smartphone’s design. The photos show the same triple rear camera setup and waterdrop notch that was previously seen in Vivo’s promotional video. Meanwhile, some retail box images and camera samples were also shared on the Internet. The Chinese tech company is promoting smartphone camera performance in low light conditions. The company also shared the key specs, price and features of the smartphone that will launch in India on February 9. The smartphone’s design and specs so far indicate that the Vivo T1 5G India variant will be significantly different from the Chinese version launched back in October.

The alleged live images of the Vivo T1 5G were shared by informant Ishan Agarwal. It shows a phone that has a rainbow effect on the back, a triple rear camera setup, and a waterdrop notch. Camera photos and retail box photos are leaked by informant Mukul Sharma. He claims the Vivo phone will be a “super awesome device when it comes to camera features”.

Vivo highlighted the camera’s low-light prowess and the Vivo T1 5G’s “Turbo” performance in a promotional video last week. Vivo claims that the next smartphone will be the fastest phone in its segment. In fact, whistleblower Mukul Sharma previously tweeted an image claiming the device scored over 400,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmarking test.

Soon after, Vivo revealed on Twitter that the Vivo T1 5G will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. tweeted that the phone will come with a “Turbo Screen” with a 120Hz refresh rate, and claimed which will be the thinnest 5G smartphone under Rs. 20,000

The Vivo T1 5G India launch has been scheduled for February 9th. One report suggested that the T-series of smartphones could replace Vivo’s Y-series smartphones.

The smartphone’s design and specs revealed so far indicate that the Vivo T1 5G India variant will be significantly different from the Chinese version launched alongside the Vivo T1x in October. The Indian variant of the Vivo T1 5G smartphone receives design elements from the Vivo T1 (Chinese version) and Vivo T1x. It gets a triple rear camera setup (albeit a different module design) from the Vivo T1 and a waterdrop notch from the Vivo T1x.

As far as the specs go, the Vivo T1 5G will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is quite different from the Vivo T1 (Chinese version) which is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. However, the Indian and Chinese variants get a 120Hz display. In fact, previously leaked specs by whistleblower Yogesh Brar also suggest that the Indian variant of the Vivo T1 5G will differ on the RAM, storage, camera and battery fronts.
