Volvo starts pre-sale of the C40, an all-electric car, for BRL 419,000

THE Volvo Car Brazil has just announced the national launch of the model Volvo C40vehicle 100% electric of the company that already operates in our country in the sale of hybrid and electric cars. It will be sold in Brazil for BRL 419,950.00 and is already on pre-sale, check below images and more details of the C40.

To impress in performance, the P8 electric powertrain has two motors, one on each axle, generating a combined power of 408hp and 660Nm of torque.

Like Volvo C40 it will be possible drive an average of 440 km using full battery charge. To become even more sustainable, the leather in the finish was replaced by Nordico, an internal material developed by Volvo Cars itself.

“Electrification is in Volvo Car Brasil’s DNA. We started there in 2017 with the hybrid XC90 and were increasingly introducing models that pollute less in our market. Being able to bring our second 100% electric model to our country today is a milestone”, says João Oliveira, General Director of Operations and Innovation at Volvo Car Brasil.

THE C40 It has a fully technological panoramic roof that is across the top of the front and rear seats of the vehicle. The glass construction has a new generation technology that allows the user to dispense with the use of closing curtains, with a tinted glass that has UV and IR protection and is capable of reducing 95% of the entry of light and 80% of the radiation of heat.

“Every millimeter of this car has a story, people should feel special inside this car. Volvo’s design philosophy is about creating designs that are relevant and serve a purpose.” highlights Robin Page, Head of Design at Volvo Cars.

Initially, 200 units of the car will be sold in the country and interested parties can now access the official company page and fill in a quick registration to receive the contact of the nearest dealership.

THE C40 arrives in Brazil costing BRL 419,950.00 and with a 3-year warranty, in addition to 3 years of periodic inspections paid for by Volvo itself, giving peace of mind to customers who are interested in purchasing the electric vehicle.
