Even though it is a universal service and is present on a wide range of platforms, WhatsApp has some gaps, especially when it comes to exchanging accounts between devices. This process was complex and in some cases would be almost impossible.

The novelty was being tested and revealed gradually and now received a big push. Finally, everyone can migrate WhatsApp between Android and iPhone and vice versa, using a simple functionality that is now widespread.

For several months now, WhatsApp has been developing one of the most frequently requested features by users. These asked for a simple way to switch their accounts between mobile devices with different operating systems, something that was virtually impossible.

The tests were emerging and the features revealed, showing what WhatsApp was developing and creating for everyone. It was even accessible, although limited to some manufacturers and in the launch of new smartphone models.

The big news, as revealed on the WhatsApp Twitter account, is that finally everyone can use this functionality. This novelty is therefore widespread and open not only to those who have an iPhone and want to migrate to Android, but also in the opposite direction.

The process is simple and fast, as intended, not always requiring a physical connection between the two devices. Everything then takes place in WhatsApp, not only the conversations, but also the files received and other multimedia elements.
