Last Thursday (20), Warner confirmed that the new The Batman will be about 3 hours long, being the longest solo film of the hero, surpassing the production Batman: The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Now, the producer has released a scene of almost 3 minutes of the feature through an ad on YouTube.
Riddler sends message at funeral
In the video that shows the new scene, Bruce Wayne, some civilians and police officers, including Jim Gordon, are surprised by the arrival of an out-of-control car at a funeral. Leaving the vehicle with a cell phone stuck in his hand and a bomb strapped to his neck, the missing character Gil Colson (Peter Sarsgaard) proves to be one of the hostages of the Charade (Paul Dano).
In some moments of the scene, the villain appears on the parapet of the church, observing everything that happens in the place. Apparently, the new movie will have a lot of scenes with the Riddler and his riddles. See the full video below:
In addition to actors Peter Sarsgaard (The Orphan) and Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood), the film by director Matt Reeves will mark the debut of Robert Pattinson (Twilight) as the man-bat. The stellar cast also includes actress Zoë Kravitz (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald) as Catwoman, Colin Farrell (The Lobster) as the Penguin and Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon (Westworld).
Remembering that the film is scheduled to be released on the day March 3, 2022 in cinemas across Brazil.
