WhatsApp co-founder takes over as interim CEO of Signal

Leaves Moxie Marlinspike, codename of Matthew Rosenfeld, and enters Brian Acton, founder of Whatsapp. marlinspike he had been at the head of the company for 10 years, when he founded the service as a message encryption project.

New CEO founded WhatsApp and Signal Foundation

The saying goes that the world turns and hesitation turns. Brian Acton made the world go round and round. Acton created the Whatsapp in 2009, which in 2013 was sold to the Facebook/Goal for nearly 19 billion dollars. He remained with the company until 2017, when he left due to differences in the direction of the messaging app. Shortly after, he founded the Signal Foundation with Moxie Marlinspike.
