Came on October 5, 2021 windows 11 on the market. Since then, the demand for the operating system has been quite high. Microsoft found that users updated their PCs to Windows 11 twice as fast as they did to Windows 10. The group has now announced that the introduction will be accelerated.

Windows 11: Introduction is preferred

Although several months have passed since the release of the operating system, the introduction is not yet fully completed. Microsoft expected a trend from Windows 11, which is why those responsible are now acting quickly. The final phase was planned for summer 2022, but in order to meet demand, the introduction has now been brought forward.

Update: This is how you get to the new operating system

In its announcement of January 26, 2022, Microsoft invites you to check the laptop or PC for authorization. According to the group, this is easiest with the PC Health Check app, but users can also check the requirements manually. Basically, the PC should have version 2004 or older and already have the September 2021 security update installed.

If this is the case, the update is available and the computer is authorized. To do this, simply type “update” into the settings search bar and the “Check for updates” option will appear. If you don’t see the new operating system yet, your PC is currently not eligible. However, there are also good reasons to wait with the update to Windows 11 or to skip it. Windows 11 also replaced some Windows 10 features.
