The Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the supposed high-end smartphone from the Chinese smartphone brand, is coming to the market soon. Prior to the formal announcement, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s battery and charging specs were leaked online. The next handset is expected to launch with minor updates over the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which was released in December last year. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to have a 4,680mAh battery. It should support 120W fast charging similar to its predecessor Xiaomi 10 Ultra.
Tipster digital chat station shared Xiaomi 12 Ultra battery specs on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. According to the insider, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra codenamed L1 could carry a 4,860mAh battery. The battery is said to support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging as well. The older Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has support for 120W fast charging, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has launched with support for 67W charging. As a reminder, another Xiaomi 12 series handset, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, was released with a 4,600mAh battery and supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
the earliest informant suggested that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra could feature a 2K Samsung display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Other previous phone specs include a 50-megapixel main sensor and support for 100W wired flash charging.
While Xiaomi has yet to announce any details about the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra, an earlier leak suggested that the company is gearing up to launch the smartphone in February. The handset was expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 12 series phones which include the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X models. As a reminder, the Xiaomi 12 line was made official in China in the last week of December 2021.
