Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is official: 108 MP camera, 120 Hz display and more

THE Xiaomi presented today (26) in the morning the new smartphones of the series Redmi Note 11, which will be available to buy globally soon. The models bring some improvements over their predecessors, with models receiving chipsets Qualcomm instead of MediaTek, best cameras and support for 5G network.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro 5G

The main devices presented during today’s event were the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G, which share several specifications, but with few changes. Powering this hardware, smartphones will come equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, support 67W fast charging and will come running in MIUI 13, but still based on Android 11.

Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S

Two “entry” models of the company’s new series of devices were also presented, visually, both have the same design presented in the Pro versions, but a little smaller, coming with a 6.43 inch AMOLED screen. The display of the models will be both the same, with Full HD+ resolution (2220 x 1080p) with a 90Hz refresh rate, hole for front camera and Gorilla Glass protection.

The models will come with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB RAM variants and 64GB or 128GB storage, the device will support the feature of Virtual RAM, which makes storage in more RAM. The main difference between the models is in the chipset: with the Note 11S coming with a Snapdragon 680 it’s the Note 11 with the MediaTek Helio G96.

The main cameras also have a difference, with the model 11S having a 108MP main sensor, while the version “base” will come with a 50MP camera. Both devices share the 118º ultra-wide secondary sensor and the 2MP macro camera.

Like the Pro models, both of the cheaper devices will come with a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The operating system will also be the Android 11, via MIUI 13.
