YouTube looks for ways to enter the NFT segment

You non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are reaching an ever-increasing audience, to take advantage of this, social networks are starting to take an interest in this novelty. after the twitter add support for these arts in your profile picture, the YouTube is another platform that is making it a priority for this year to bring support for this novelty.

Whoever says this is the CEO of the Youtube, Susan Wojickiin an open letter about the video streaming site’s expectations for 2022. In its text, Susan claims that the web3 has been a true source of inspiration for the company to continue innovating and adapting to new trends and technologies.

“Over the past year, in the cryptocurrency space, non-fungible tokens (NTFs) and even decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) have paved new, hitherto unimaginable avenues to increase the connection between content creators and their fans. We are always looking to expand the YouTube ecosystem to help creators capitalize on new technologies, including NFTs, while still developing and improving the YouTube creator and fan experience.”

Despite claiming that it will be bringing the NFTs for the platform, at no time is it suggested how this could happen, but, according to the company’s statement, this could be a new source of revenue for creators.
