YouTube Premium and YouTube Music now have annual subscription option

THE Google is finally offering the YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium with a 12 month subscription, which is slightly cheaper than maintaining a monthly subscription. This new subscription option is available in Brazil, USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Thailand, India and Japan and the platform is offering a even greater discount for users who choose the annual option.

New subscribers receive a 25% discount

Currently, the platform is offering a bigger discount for those who choose the annual version, until January 23, users will get a full 25% discount on the subscription price. This means that users who want to subscribe to the YouTube Premium for a year will only pay BRL 188.90 and not the R$ 250.80 of the full value of the 12-month subscription, meaning that the monthly value becomes R$ 15.70 per month.

The discounted subscription is also valid for users who want to subscribe YouTube Music Premium, which will do the first year of service costs R$ 152.90, outside the promotion, the subscription will be R$ 202.80. Thanks to this 25% off promotion, the monthly price of the service will be R$ 12.75 per month.

However, as not everything is flowers, the platform points out that this promotion is only valid for new subscribers, that is, who have not yet subscribed to any of the services. Those who have an existing subscription, the applicant can subscribe to the annual plans, but without any special discount on the total price.
