PlayStation 5 Slim 2 centimeters tall created by youtuber
PlayStation 5 hit the market on November 12, 2020 for the first countries. So, just over 18 months ago, Sony presented gamers with its new machine capable of responding to the most current needs of the most demanding gamers, in several aspects. And according to recent data, the PS5 has sold 20 million units in just 18 months of existence.
However, many users complain about the appearance of the PlayStation 5, asking for a more compact and thin device. Sony justifies the design of the new console on the grounds of the equipment's heat dissipation, but most likely the Japanese company could also launch a Silm version of the PS5.
But in the meantime, the YouTube channel owner DIY Perks decided to create its own version of what would be the possible PlayStation 5 Slim. For this, the contraptions set to work and tried to reduce the size of the original console. Most impressively, he managed to do just that by inserting all the equipment's components into a box just 2 centimeters high.

For this creation, the youtuber discarded practically the entire original cooling system and built a new water-based system, which integrates with a large external source. Of course, and as we can see from the video, there were some situations that were improvised, but it's really a work that should be recognized.
It remains to wait for what Sony has prepared for this segment and, if a PS5 Slim is even launched, possibly the brand will reduce energy consumption, which will allow a reduction in the level of parts dedicated to cooling.
